Want to let someone send you alarms for a while, but not forever? You can use Gmail and TMobile to do this, too.
Follow the steps above to set up another Gmail filter, and give it a special Gmail "plus" address: say "zoe.haemer+doctor@gmail.com". Have those emails forwarded to your cell, too. You'll get them immediately, wherever you are.
When the crisis is over, just delete the filter. After it's gone, notes from the doctor will just go to your Gmail.
If it's the boyfriend you just broke up with, instead of the doctor, you can even get Gmail to automatically throw his messages away.

- Click on "Edit current filters"
- Find the filter for that vendor and click on "Edit"
- Click on "Next Step"
- Unclick "Forward it to:"
- Click "Move it to the Trash"
